About Malcolm
"Let me tell you a little bit about myself"
I am based in Berwick upon Tweed and have more than 20 years experience in construction. I left school in 1991 to work as an apprentice in my father's building business and studied at Borders College, Galashiels. My apprenticeship lasted four years during which I gained qualifications at Craft and Advanced Craft Level in Bricklaying. I remained working for my father until April 2005 when I started my own business. In 2009 I was approached by Northumberland College to teach part time at the Berwick Construction Centre. This inspired me to go back to studying and I have recently qualified with a Diploma in Teaching. |

" In 2010 I received The Berwick Learning Partnership Award. Although teaching is something that I enjoy my passion remains in construction. " |

" I also support many local charities. I recently helped Radio Borders raise money on their Cash For Kids Day. " |
